I am currently employed into the Splunk Shared Services team. My primary role consists of on-boarding customers data on to the splunk platform. Splunk allows you to run searches in real time analysis, create stats/charts of key alerts.
I have now learned how to navigate through a linux terminal, improved communication skills on speaking to our custoemers on a daily basis. I have now adapted to using JIRA to monitor my tasks in an effective manner. We are now migrating to new envrionment. JIRA is being used for this.
I am now commuting to office once a week, Natwest provides a fantastic campys, loads of flexible options for learning, easy to commute location, and provides sufficient amentities. Natwest provides the fantastic opportunity to gain a qualification whilst gaining an excellent salary, and also gaining work experience.
Our apprenticeship provides a flexible opportunity tailored to your personal needs to progress into a career in that role, and the the current bandwidth in your working day. I was entering courses for 1 week periods which were booked with my assessor. Our team at natwest provides flexible working whilst working from home.
Our team always provides me further learning opporunities, i am now able to control the incident management queue in our team, be involved in migrations to new platforms. I am also responsible for the communications aspects of our team, dealing with customer queries, and providing Splunk updates
I am able to ask my assessor any questions i may feel unsure about, they always point me in the right direction.
I have now got a qualification in Data Analytics, i am now able to manage our data sets and sort them into an user friendly format. I am now able to complete team tasks using linux helping meet customer demand, and provide a sufficient service.
Our apprenticeship council provided virtual coffee mornings to get you engaging with fellow apprentices, we attended networking events where senior leaders engaged in talks with us, providing us with great tips and hints. The apprenticeship council also arranged a virtual christmas party (quiz)
