My main role is to support, and help tutors and learners daily by answering queries via email and call. I provide general administrative support with different functions: registrations, booking functional skills exams, process learners into gateway, updating records, and manage data for several end-point assessment organisations.
I've been learning how to communicate effectively and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. I've also been developing my problem solving and troubleshooting skills to excel in delivering the best support to our tutors and learners.
I enjoy supporting and helping people in my company. My Apprenticeship tutor is also one of my colleagues, that is why I always try to show my gratitude to her tireless work and effort for my programme by giving my help in any queries she may need.
My programme consists of an induction and initial session, monthly learner support sessions, formal reviews with tutor and line manager, several webinars with other peers to support the modules that I've been studying, and different tasks to show evidence of my learning.
My line manager has always been keen to support me in my programme. Despite her busy schedule, she makes sure to take some time for my formal reviews. She has been willing to guide and help me in anything I need for my course.
I've been having monthly learner support sessions with my Apprenticeship tutor. She has always been willing to support me with a positive attitude. The webinars are organised and mentored by the tutors of my training provider, and they have been given me so much help in my learning.
I have definitely put the theory into practice. In the modules I have studied so far, I have learned more about the culture used in my organisation, how to communicate with different stakeholders, how I can use my skills to meet my organisation's goals.
Every Monday the whole staff get together remotely to discuss about the Hot Topic of the week. We are currently having daily sessions to raise awareness and speak about Mental Health. We do a lot of company events throughout the year, such as Away Days and summer camps.

I became part of the LMP group as a Kickstarter, then I was offered an Apprenticeship with a permanent position, and I can testify that LMP is really a place that creates opportunities and inspire ambition where employees can upskill and make a change.
I would advise them to look at the LMP group website to know more about the company's mission, study the job role description you are interested in, to be well prepared for the interview, and have a positive attitude and a growth mindset!
