my role focuses on serving customers face to face helping with different and complex queries such as business and personal accounts. Cashier is another part of my role where we deal with a range of customers who want to withdraw money from their accounts and deposit money into the accounts or set up direct debits etc.
i have learnt how to balance tills, access the databases used by the bank and how to help certain queries online, i have learnt how to direct people through activating their apps. i have learnt how to deal with business pay ins and inputting them onto the system correctly done.
the staff have been incredibly supportive throughout my employment here guiding me through every step of the job role. ontop of that, the trainers online via zoom have explained everything and kept the training fun and exciting. all staff i have worked with have been supportive and gave great information
i know from week to week what is expected from me and what i need to be doing, i am also kept busy within the programme learning a lot of information of different departments. thigns are expalined thoroughly and i know that if i have any questions they can be answered.
100 percent support in all aspects of work ever since ive started working for HSBC the best company i have worked with by a mile and id be more than happy to recommend anyone who is looking to work for a bank to apply at HSBC! extremely person focused amazing!
they have outlined everything we need to do and it is clear what we need to do in order to achieve our goals, the support has been offered and our training provider is always asking us if we are stuck or if there is anything we are not to sure of which is great.
Because when everything is clearly explained, you feel more comfortable and also, the trainers and very welcoming which makes you feel that you are not pestering them in anyway when asking questions. the information provided gives me an advantage when applying the knowledge in the workforce and gives me a heads up.
yes there is social activities involved, local places to have fun for example we are organising a great escape room activity and going in teams head to head! there is also been quizzes organised just after work hours to get involved with, again in teams to have some healthy competition.
Yes
because they treat everyone the same, there is no prejudice if you need any support all staff are willing to help you and there is fantastic career opportunities available for you if your willing to put the work in, it is a very customer focused place to work not only that they love to look after their staff!
my advice would be to be yourself and if you love to help people, this is definetly the place for you as there is always someone to help within the business whether that be a customer or a member of staff. let your own strengths shine through and be a unique individual!
