1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am a surveillance analyst apprentice which the objective is to look out for market abuse and try and prevent it. this means looking at ecoms trade and audio alerts to see if we can prevent market abuse through are customers and employees.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

the investigation skills are being improved daily as thats a key skill in this role. also presenting is a skill that i am improving on.

i am enjoying this programme very much so.

very well structured with three different rotations within surveillance so get to see as much as possible

constant support

quite a lot of support

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

the qualification will help with understanding the regulations more and therefore will help overall in the role

plenty of social events, a few sports teams i believe and some networking events

Yes

to get to network and experience working in one of the biggest banks in the world is something that you can say you have done and the experience will help you throughout work life
