My role as a Marketing Degree Apprentice involved event management/organisation, content creation, digital marketing and internal project support such as customer experience projects and internal communication copywriting.
I've developed my organisational skills massively and learnt many skills in event organisation/management and how to effectively target customers/external market. I've also been able to develop my the theory I learnt at university to practical skills when it comes to digital marketing.
I really enjoy gaining the university experience and having time on campus whilst also working full time and gaining workplace experience, knowledge and skills in Marketing.
My programme has been and continues to be very organised and well structured.
I receive lots of support and guidance from my employer which helps to make everything a more enjoyable and less stressful experience.
My training provider has been fundamental to my success at university as their support has always been hugely appreciated.
The theory and knowledge I've learnt through my qualification has helped me to better understand the practicalities of my day-to-day role, as well as increasing my self-confidence.
There are many CSR activities at my workplace which are available to anyone, from social and sports activities for charities, to professional networking events which I've had the pleasure of helping to organise.

CEVA Logistics has an incredible attitude to not just degree apprentices but anyone who is open to learning and taking on new challenges or wanting to move to different areas of the business. From my experience, CEVA are open to encouraging colleagues to move to job roles that better fit their ambitions and skill sets, and supporting those colleagues in doing so.
To join with an open mind and to take as much advice and support as possible from as many people across the business as you can. You never know what opportunities may come your way!
