Daily, weekly and monthly reporting for operators, alongside business partnering a division and working efficiently with them to aid in decision making. Additionally, month end processes for opstats and forecasts.
Yes absolutely, i am continually developing and learning new skills that will contribute towards being a qualified accountant. My managers and team are always looking to set challenging tasks to widen my breadth of knowledge whilst supporting me along the way.
The programme is excellent, it provides me with building blocks from start to finish on how to become a qualified accountant whilst providing resources and support to be able to do so.
I have found the programme very organised, the studying and lectures provide a dedicated timetable and deadlines for when individual milestones should be met. I have regular meetings with my talent coach who guides me throughout my course.
I receive support from all departments involved in my company, and feel confident they are supporting me along the way.
Whenever i have needed to ask a question i have felt confident in their responses and their timeliness to respond.
My role is tailored to my studying on a daily basis and there are regular overlaps between my role and qualification that help me put certain learnings into practice.
We have a number of social events, however less so when it comes to company events/sports clubs/voluntary initiatives.
Yes
Marston's is an excellent place to work, it has a real sense of community and all employees are friendly and more importantly always willing to help.
Being able to deliver a good assessment day or interview will not be determined by assuming you can achieve everything right on the day but by the way you assess a situation and your logic towards solving problems. In addition to that, 'be yourself'!
