My day can vary from volunteering for NPO's, arranging volunteers for NPO's, admin, managing emails, running reports, creating events, being involved and promoting events. I liase any queries and questions from stakeholders or colleagues with my manager and report back. I participate and organise fundraising events for NPO's and work closely with my colleagues all over the globe.
I have learnt so so many new skills and developed a lot of skills that had became redundant due to being out of work and isolation. My confidence is back up and I find myself able to network and speak confidently with people again without being judged. This has given me the confidence to just run with this apprenticeship and get the most out of it. I credit this directly to my line manager [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] who empowers people.
I absolutely love it. It is the best programme suited to me. I was over the moon to find out I am a trailblazer for the prograe and the first person to have ever been enrolled onto this programme which is a new course. It was suggested by [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] and I can't thank her enough!
It is very well structures, my manager has even looked at my syllabus and worked out ways in which I we can incorporate it into my daily role which is kind. I have a great support system everyone is friendly and happy to help especially [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] the manager for UKI, he has been fantastic at showing me how to implement a structure in my calendar in Teams which I have found the most invaluable part of my role. He is extremely patient and is on hand at all times to show me the ropes and he takes a genuine interest in my course.
The support at Sage is second to none, from [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] in HR, to [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] who leads the apprentice programme is literally just a message away if I need anything at all. My manager [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] is great she supports me fully and with her UKI manager [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] who can not do enough to help me.
My training provider have been great with me especially since I have had covid and a busy event with our brand launch to help organise. I recieved some books in the post 6 weeks in which was a nice touch. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] has been so kindm supportive and I can be completely honest with him.
It is a relatively new qualification which is just taking off and I am the first person to be enrolled onto it, I find it exciting because this course is at the forefront of most corporations now and the whole world are moving forward to be sustainable and to take responsibility.
There are so many, there are a lot of events and I currently working with the UKI manager launching events taking place in Newcastle, Manchester, London and Dublin. We have over 300 people joining from our Newcastle office alone. I have also been included to join my team on a work trip to Portugal on the 6th of June and I cant wait to see how sustainability and corporate responsibility are looked at with all of my colleagues from all over the world.
Yes
Because the feeling of diversity and inclusion is second to none and is like no where I have ever worked before. I am very very lucky to be part of such an amazing team. I love my job, I enjoy going to work. I have two genuine supportive people [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] and[This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] who I have previously mention who support me at all times.
Always be yourself, Sage likes people to be themselves. Show enthusiasm and be willing to get stuck in. I speak to people from the CEO to fellow apprentice's exactly the same and I am treated exactly the same from them. My VP [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] is so down to earth given the the scope of her role she always makes time for you.
