Currently my role is to work on various projects that require analysis of large data sets to provide stakeholders with Business Insight
Yes I have managed to develop my SQL experience and also learnt how to create dynamic dashboards using a new tool for me in QLIK Sense.
I found it very absorbing. It was demanding in it required total attention when I was committed to it but the rewards were certainly worth it.
I felt the initial phase where the learning curve is quite steep was a little fast paced but once you get past that initial steep learning curve the rest of the course becomes a little easier to keep up with. Throughout though it was very interesting. My only frustration as an apprentice was not being able to do it full time as its quite hard to stop halfway through a project or exercise just as you are getting to the best bits, and return to a day job.
Total Support!
I thought the support was great as even if they weren't immediately available for a call they would always respond to an email very promptly and I never felt out of touch with my mentors. Both my mentors [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] and [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] were also extremely knowledgeable and gave me so much confidence in my work.
I feel it makes me stand out from my colleagues who haven't had the same level of training. I provides me with a technical understanding that makes certain aspects of my role much easier.
Yes.
Yes
The amount if support and time they take to develop their employees is impressive. I see so many people join Vodafone and never leave.
Have an interest in Technology and the future. Be creative. BE a massive Team person and most of all be willing to learn and try new things as Vodafone is not just about the present but also about adapting to our ever changing world and changing the way we work always for the better.
