Site lead role with a team of 38 operatives, covering Security / Weighbridge Operatives, cleaning operatives, jetters, electricians, amenities cleaners. Cover all operations of the site facilities team - HR, planning, compliance, contractor management, organisational structure, budget control.
Yes, the course has widen my experience and knowledge of different FM environments and how things could apply differently in FM depending on sector. Looking into budgets has been helpful for me current role and learnt me to question detail and also the mechanical and H&S aspects of learning.
It has been a very enjoyable programme and a break from day to day operations to apply learning and knowledge to a practical role which I have learnt on the job, so to speak. I am keen to continuously develop and this has supported his in the area of FM.
Very well with a very supportive assigned tutor who was consistent throughout and good support from the central ream in set up and admin. Felt I could work to my own needs and that support was there when needed. My learning was all through COVID so all online structured, which was fine for me.
Consistent and constant support. Given the authority to plan own learning and space to do this. Trusted to complete with time away from the office planned to my needs.
A good consistent tutor who remained for the 2 years. He planned sessions and understood my time constraints and work pressures with a promotion and greater job role taken on during my course.
Has given me a greater insight to areas covered, such as H&S, Finance, People development, Mechanical, Compliance etc. Instead of it just being of what I had learned myself in a practicable job role I have the background to this now and the theory.
EMCOR UK promote networking events for groups I am involved in such as Creating Balance. We also have a Connect group to share on and at site are involved in local activities such as the village fetes, charity fundraising, local fitness group and local grounds maintenance.
