My main role is software testing. I work in teams to test software for clients.
Coding skills, software test tools, collaboration, professional skills, soft skills
I enjoy the programme a lot, it is a good balance between work and study and all the people involved in the apprenticeship programme are very helpful.
Very well organised, everything is clear and easy to understand, there is always help when it's needed.
A lot of support. The employer is always willing to give time off for studies as well as any personal matters, the employer is also very helpful in resolving any issues with the education provider.
A lot of support. The university is always willing to help when it's needed, we re assigned a university mentor who is responsible for helping out with any issues including personal ones that interfere with studies.
My qualification gives a valuable overview of IT, its different sectors and the processes involved. Even though the course doesn't directly teach me things about my role it does help me understand the functions of IT in the company better.
There are: courses, social events (social drinks, golf, quizzes) from both the projects we work on as well as areas of business we're a part of, a sports group, opportunity to participate in corporate games.
