within my role, it involves having vast amounts of knowledge ready at hand as I am what is known as a supporting role where I help support new starters to coming to the business where they are in need and get stuck on a particular process or need of some reassurance as to whether they can offer something to a customer or not.
Being in this role I feel I have learnt new skills & developed existing skills mainly in understanding those around me and becoming more of a role model to them. thinking more of my responses to them, understanding that others learn differently and at different speeds , judging how to react to their emotions to a situation I come across.
I honestly enjoy the program so much with the support I'm getting from my work place and the support I'm getting from the program providers. The Team bonding I'm making with my peers, making new friendships in the company and having that feeling that your developing new starters and progressing them into new thriving agents to the company too is more than just an accomplishment.
I feel the program is organised very well with the assessors that I communicate with. They always have a next session thought of and have a plan of action for the next piece of work I need to complete. They have feedback ready for me at each 1-2-1 session where no time is lost or getting that feeling of winging it. honestly its a great experience learning on the job.
I receive a considerable amount of support from my employer, they've asked for feedback on places we can improve on the experience we are having so they are eager to give a continuous support to help aid us in the apprenticeship to ensure we aren't struggling along side our job role
I receive and outstanding amount of support from my training provider when it comes towards the qualification as they want to see me pass with flying colours. Their attitude is always positive, they can have a laugh and get supportive at the same time. They work along with my times and ensure I'm doing okay myself with the work load.
I feel the qualification helps me perform better in my role because it has taught me new skills and it encourages me to do better in myself and whilst I'm being supported through my training provider it's even helping me understand my people skills better too which is surprisingly more helpful than I thought.
There are certain extra curricular activities in the work place if we want to get involved. These are mainly called Power hour sessions and these are events that can improve your knowledge in many things, it's down to the name of the power hour session name that it's called. We sometimes have events outside of the business to improve moral with the team to bond with your peers.
Yes
I would recommend TUI to friends and families as I think its a wonderful place to work as they've helped me from day one. I enjoy learning new things with each department I've gone too, I've been given opportunities to learn new skills and career paths and all of this I'm most appreciative of is the fact they gave me the chance to improve myself.
The Tips and Advice I would give to other applying for TUI is to try not to stress about being as professional as you can. Be open to them as they know everyone is unique and they want you to bring that to them as they'll want you to bring that uniqueness to your job role and the customers you will be making contact with.
