My role is to have my system and programs set before 9:00 am as, after that i have a huddle each day in which we talk about the day before and anything that want good or bad that day. Then i take calls, helping the customer until my dinner then once thats done i will take calls again until the end of the day. This unless i have any meetings or time off doing that day.
I have improved my listening skills since joining Sage as i have to pick up on small bits of details that customer say which can help me fix their problem. Also, another skill that has been developed more in my IT skills as i stopped using IT systems and software but working at Sage has honed my old skills.
I enjoy the programme as, the people on the course and the coaches are friendly easy to get along with and always happy to help each other if someone needs help with anything they are struggling one. The work is good as everyone seems to enjoy working for the company and due to what i have experince so far and i am always enjoying working for Sage.
I think that my programme is well structured due to the fact that everything is planned in advance so we know what's happening. We have also, know what time we have for studying, work and also apprentice work so, we know whats happening day to day and in the future.
I feel that i recieve quite a high amount of support not just from my manage who is always happy to help us with any problems or concerns that we have. I feel like the guidance we are given with our problems is better at Sage then other work places.
With my adviser i feel like i get alot of support due to the fact that any problem or question that i have about the work. I can go to my tutor an ask them with them helping me with the problem or the soultion. Also, the accessibility of support is great as im able to get access to the support easily.
I feel like that what i'm learning on the apprenticeships helps with my role as it's expanding my knowledge of some of the products and what about Sage as a business wants which helps me when im dealing more with my customer as i understand what i need to do to help them.
I'm not really involved with any extra curricular activities outside of work since as sports clubs and that. I done go to the social such as the parties the business has to knowledge the good work that we have done. But for instances like the sports clubs no as i do one with my friends outside of work.
Yes
The reason why i would recommend Sage is that i have enjoyed my time at the company and believe that if any of my friends joined would have the same great experince as me and would like the time they have Sage and would be happy to work for the company.
The advice i would give for someone applying to Sage would just be yourself rather then try and act like someone else to get the job as Sage encourages difference and rather have their employees be themselves rather then pretending to be someone else to get the job. Also, when applying just be honest about why you want the job or apprenticeship.
