I support the sites GM in Customer analysis, client and internal KPI report, client review information and communications. I lead the SET meetings also monitoring and tracking site compliance with policies and procedures. I support and lead in all Audits, Kaizen activity. other duties - payroll, HR hours tracking, Invoicing etc
throughout my apprenticeship I have gain skills in providing evidence and information to stake my case for change. I have also developed further skills in stakeholder analysis and project planning. I am currently developing my skills in data collection and analysis. I am currently at the analysis phase of DMAIC
I find the apprenticeship extremely valuable , it has allowed me to develop skills to better understand six sigma and how lean can be used in simple but affective ways to improve processes. as the group on the course all come from different industries it allows for further discussions and understanding
we are given time to work on projects and are always able to reach out for support from our tutor when ever needed. the tasks are clear and provided when you are ready to move to the next phase allowing for every to work independently but learn together in workshops
my manager is very supportive and tries to give me time where ever possible, due to staffing issues at my site it has been a challenge and do find other members of management try to interrupt when on workshops days due to head office not being very supportive (HR/ BPE)
excellent support, can also ways drop a email to contact for a call or advise. Provide feedback and discussion on all submitted work to aid further development. help to support problem solve if come up against issues that prevent progress and allow for flexibility in learning and project work completion.
allowed me to develop skills to define and build a case for change. improved my approach to data collection and analysis. when looking at a project or problem i have learned to complete a full and detailed stakeholder analysis to ensure that all required parties are aware of the project.
due to staff issues this is not something we have been able to implement yet this year. I have been involved in supporting the Warwickshire scouts county camp and asked for colleagues support as well. to improve our recruitment I have been supporting by attending job fairs representing the site
Yes
I would particularly the Wellesbourne site as the GM is keen to develop and support anyone who is interested in growing and developing themselves. i believe CEVA HSEQ had a good approach particularly when looking from a site level, I hope HR and BPE follow in there footsteps to improve
if working at site level be open to challenge what come from head office for the better of the site you are on. if working at head office be respectful that head office does not exist without the sites and providing support when site need it is valuable to all
