Management of the Operation Excellence Governance for the Contract. This involves the management of all key standards, 5S and Continuous Improvement. Overseeing and facilitating the Site Classification and Contract VDA Assessments.
I have increased my data analysis skills and with the use of Minitab I am able to analyse data and identify potential opportunities quickly. This has also enhanced my skills in terms of project management etc. I have also achieved my Level 2 in Math's and English as I was unable to evidence my GCSE Qualifications.
Very much so. The training and support from CQM has been outstanding. However, I have struggled to dedicate the time that I should to the programme be at times however. I do also find the data analysis part of the programme difficult at times and feel that I need extra support with this.
Very well structured. The support in terms of training and resources has been excellent.
Other than the time off to complete the course there has been very little support. My mentor has now moved to a different part of the business and his Six Sigma knowledge was very limited. However, I do know that I can speak to who I currently report into for support when needed.
As much as is needed. At present we have a catch up and a focus day every two weeks. If I need to book any additional time then my tutor with make sure we have the time needed.
It has helped with some of the projects I have already been working on and I have implemented some significant improvements already that have benefitted the business. I do wish that I had more time to invest in the use of these tools for more detailed analysis, but time available is always an issue at present, so I use the key tools and techniques as needed at the time.
