My day to day role was investigating into customer related faults, this involved learning technical skills and working with my colleagues to boost my skillset. This was in the mobile space so involved learning about how the mobile network works and how to make improvements to areas facing issues reported
I learned new skills all about the mobile network as I came in as a complete novice. I also learned parts about the fixed network which was also interesting and reinforced my cross technology skills. I also learnt skills of how to perform and come across in a professional workplace
I did enjoy my program massively, giving me opportunities that otherwise would be extremely difficult to get without my apprenticeship. I have also met lots of people who I have networked with to enable me to open doors to further career opportunities and grow my career. All support has been great
Very structured with all of my dates for learning by the training provider given in advance. This also includes all deadlines allowing me to effectively plan my time in advance. Vodafone was also very organized giving me all of the time required for my coursework to be completed on time
More than enough support is provided by Vodafone, offering help at every opportunity enabling me to feel welcome and comfortable within the work environment, this allows me to grow my skills and also perform to the best of my ability. Vodafone also gave me exposure into various different workstreams to allow me to progress
The training provider gave me support when I asked for it to enable me to progress my learning, this includes portfolio and exam support along with further sessions if required. They were very supportive in helping in an online environment also which was good due to the experience we faced
I feel transferrable skills were given by the training providers qualifications which enabled me to further my abilities in my role. This enables me to be the best version of myself at work and enable me to progress my career. This is due to them being recognised qualifications worldwide and local to Vodafone
I did not however there are many social activities and clubs to join such as coding club where you can learn skills otherwise difficult to learn as well as offering networking opportunities with likeminded individuals. These clubs are also always sharing their ouput and is promising to see Vodafones togetherness
Yes
