I work on a range of projects, with a background in design I was put with a team who focuses a lot on urban design. This involves things such as baseline data and research.
I have developed my skills in Adobe creative cloud.
I enjoy the projects I work on and my team, as you can steer your career the way you want.
The technical/background information on transport planning is done through the college course, the work and projects done on a day to day basis is more learn on the job or teach yourself.
My employer is very supportive.
Training provider is very supportive and gives a lot of guidance for assignments.
Some information is helpful, but some skills aren't introduced until the second year.
