As a transport planner we assess the impact of developments on the local transport. I use software to assess the impact in detail and plan methods of mitigation
I have learnt a lot of new skills through different softwares and also learnt how to think like a transport planner
I enjoy my programme and find transport planning a very interesting topic
The degree is new so the structure wasnt entirely set up but now I believe it is
I receive help from those in my team and also have time allocated to attend university
Through my lectures I can get support but the majority of my work is done by myself with little support
The qualification provides me with knowledge I simply cannot learn whilst on the job or would not have time to and puts me in a more experienced position
Yes, my office offers a range of social activities and there are many sporting groups to join such as football and badmintion

Mott MacDonald are a huge company but within your team you still feel important
Be yourself and be confident, as long as you are interested in the role you are ahead of the game
