I am a materials analyst, responsible for ordering components to meet customer demand. I record KPI's weekly and interact with suppliers daily. I work alongside suppliers and the rest of the team to manage an issues with supplier and work out effective ways to solve issues.
I have really improved on my knowledge of various software; for example, PowerBI, PowerApps, and SAP. As well as this, I have improved on my confidence; I present monthly to senior management, which has allowed me to feel more comfortable with presenting.
I am really enjoying my programme so far. I have learnt some great new skills, as well as making many new friends. The company is very supportive and will help wherever is necessary. My daily role is also enjoyable, as I get to see direct impact of actions I make.
My employers are extremely organised. The university course was slightly less well organise to begin with, but has since changed management and make great improvements. The structure of the learning on the course is clear and easy to follow.
I receive full support from my employer, both with my course, and my day to day role in the company. They are keen to progress your learning and will encourage you to try different things that they feel will benefit you.
The support from the course is slightly limited as your tutors are only accessible by email. They do however have a learning hub for help with essays and assignments that is also free to book an appointment.
i have learnt vast amounts on the course in the past year. As well as the knowledge I have accrued so far from my course, I also benefit from discussions with others on the course. The sharing of knowledge has been invaluable to aid with my role.
There are many social activities offered; the employees are also very sociable and friendly.
Yes
I would recommend Siemens Healthineers because it is an all round great place to work. You are provided with a high level of responsibility, meaning it is very rewarding; but also offered support as and when it is needed.
Take any opportunities that you are presented with, it will help in the future.
