I am a corporate Degree Apprentice currently part of the Talent and Early Careers Team. Throughout my time in the team I have facilitated and set up assessment centre for the 2022 cohort, managed our inbox, conducted offer calls and set up the 2022 keep in touch project with our new intake.
I have developed many skills whilst on this scheme. My confidence has improved significantly as well as my determination to succeed. This is based on the people around me and how inspiring they all are.
This programme is amazing and I cant fault it. I feel so lucky to be a part of the scheme
-Very well organised we have mentors and buddies to ensure we get support as well as everything being communicated with plenty of time.
My employer gives me as much support as I need and constantly reassures me of this.
We do get lots of support whilst at Uni as well as communication from the Uni when we are not there
I feel that I learn a lot more on the job than through my training provider however they do complement each other well.
Yes we have lots of networking events within Morrisons as well as lots of training.
Yes
It is the loveliest environment and anyone is welcome. You get so much responsibility at such a young age as well as all the support you need.
Be open to opportunities - say yes! Ask lots of questions and learn from people across the company - make a note of this stuff and use it to build your own style / way of doing things. Have an opinion & bring your own perspective - don't be afraid to challenge.
