This includes working in Power T&D. I get experience using many CAD programs and the opportunity to design foundations.
I have developed many useful skills such as time management, organisational skills and communication skills. Other skills ore specific to engineering that I developed are CAD skills, mathematical skills and precision.
I enjoy my program very much as there is always lots to learn and get involved with.
Very well structured as I get to move between different departments and get experience in all of them
I receive sufficient support to help me grow and learn
Support could be better but it is adequate to make a good start
Gives me the understanding I need for some of the roles, having that base knowledge is important
There are many activities that are put on at work by the R- life team and I have had the opportunity to network at an event for female apprentice engineers run by WES (Women Engineering Society)
Yes
It is a great place to work and the company supports you very well in reaching your goals
Be yourself at the interview and careful thing of which department you would like to join- there are many different options to choose from.
