In Year one you are based down in Gosport. In this year you will most the theory work to give you the engineering knowledge. In Year 2 and 3 it is more work based working with the team to maintain the rail infrastructure
I have learnt many new skills for example things such as MMD and Surveying which I never thought I would ever do but really enjoyed it and this course has turned me into a smarter person.
I really enjoy this program I get to meet new people from around the UK and learn new skills and become qualified in a trade I want to work in. It has made me stronger as a person and has helped me feel better about myself

The training provider is good at giving us support as well as the VLE all the teachers are happy to help you if you need help and they want you to succede in the working environment.
Our Employer supports us financially and oversees the training is to the correct standard and if there is a problem they will help you out to overcome it.
