An overview of my role is to provide adminastrative support and project management approach to my role. I have to order plant equipment for site and arrange site bookings while alongside keeping the operations and maintanence manuals up to date on sharepoint for each different project. I will also off hire equipment as and when needed
I have learnt many new skills, one being time management and how to manage my workload. My social skills have developed and i have gained better customer service skills through speaking to various different stakeholders. in addition to this i feel i have built on my teamworking skills and my abilty to be a good team member
I enjoy my programme however it has only jus started, my team support me in working on my apprentice and provide help and support when i need it. I feel the course could provide more supporting documents when completing modules to help give a better understanding on the module i am completing.
I feel my course if rather organised after having regular catch ups with my tutor and i recieved an iduction onto the course. My mentor gives support as and when needed and regulary checks in on my progress. I feel there could be more support with documents relating to different modules
I recieve a good amount of support from my employer. My mentor is always avalible if i need support as well as my Line manager. My team provide me with support when i require feedback or eveidence for my work. Any issues or problems i come across they are all happy to support
I recieve a good amount of support from my training provider, they give me guidnace when i come to problems and help me solve them. My tutor regulary checks in to see how i am getting on or if i need any suport with anything so this makes completing my modules easier
I feel that my qualification helps me perform better in my role as it is developing my knowledge, skills and behaviours. All which will be beneficial in my role. Also my qualification will help me to have a better project management approach to my work with my team being a project based environment
Sometimes the company will get involved in sports events for example a company tag rugby event for charity. They also get involved in many networkig events to help bring people together. I feel this is good because it allows people to network with each other and gain better working relationships.
Yes
I would reccomend Balfour Beatty to a friend because it is a very good company to work for. There is a very big support network and many opppertunitys to explore different careers. They are always looking for ways to imporove as a company and help improve yourself as a person
I would research about the company and get to know what Balfour Beatty is all about. Ensure you know what you are applying for and which department. Ask questions about things that you want to know. Explore the different areas to see what roles and oppertunitys are on offer for you.
