My role consist of providing engineering support on site for the construction of works. This could be through setting out the works to be built and checking the works have been constructed as per the design.
As well as gaining professional qualifications, I have developed many life skills and improved existing skills. I have improved my communications skills allowing me the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce
My apprenticeship has been an enjoyable experience with the workplace being a safe and encouraging environment to learn
My university has provided massive of support and have considered our needs and any struggles we may have had to adapt the course in order to support us and allow us to achieve our best.
My line manager has provided a lot of support towards my study having being an apprentice themselves. I have received little support from widespread of the company .
The training provider is excellent. Always available to discuss any issues and provide solutions in for any issues.
I think the qualification has helped me to gain a better understanding regarding engineering principles around my day to day role and help fill the gaps where experience can't
There are variety of different eLearning and webinar at work which are tailored to professional attributes and for gaining that additional knowledge in the subject matter.
