I am responsible for managing Aspire development's social media accounts and running campaigns. I also schedule posts to go out on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook too. I send out monthly marketing emails/newsletters and make sure all of this is running smoothly. I also have a graphic design background so will create flyers and videos for the business.
Yes at Aspire Development I am constantly having the opportunity to upskill and grow in various areas. As mentioned in the question above, I had training in graphic design and video editing so that I could take my knowledge to the next level. I now use it to create fresh marketing materials for the business.
I do enjoy my apprenticeship programme. It is time consuming and can be very demanding, almost challenging at times but I do enjoy a challenge and I am someone who likes to be busy. I have learnt quite a number of valuable skills and information which I continually pass down to my colleagues at work in the form of proposals.
On the whole it is pretty organized. We have set modules and are told what these will be before the start of every year so it is well laid out. We are aware of who our lectures will be and now I know what End Point Assessment is along with what it entails to get it completed.
I receive ample and excess support from my employer and I could not be more grateful for this. They have been very supportive and understanding about my situation and will always provide encouragement when I need it. If there is an area I am struggling in they are sure to find development for me and this makes me feel more confident in my abilities.
I do receive support in the form of Interactive Question and Answer sessions which are held remotely. I have the freedom to share my work and get feedback from it in real time and also get to listen to the advice given to my peers. It is a very valuable use of everyone's busy time.
As mentioned above in another question I regularly use my university research when I am proposing a new idea or asked on why I went ahead with one decision over another. I feel more confident and am able to have proper professional discussions with those around me in the office and online.
We regularly catch up via Teams and we do also plan days out. As everyone is aware this had been challenging during the Covid 19 pandemic but we are a very tight knit group and will always be around for a chat. This is one of the main reasons I enjoy working with my employer. Everyone is so friendly.
Yes
I have given many reasons above but in my opinion they are a fantastic, friendly and determined organization where you are able to truly grow as an individual. They provide you with all the support, tools and training required to be successful in your job role. There is also plenty of areas to get involved and have your say for the growth of the business.
If you want to apply to Aspire Development just make sure you are a friendly and hard working individual who truly wants to grow with the business and grow within themselves. Aspire development's slogan is We Are Passionate About Growth and this really does shine out in everything that we do.
