It is an operational role that is site based and requires you to manage the daily activities on site. Currently i work on electrical substations
I've learnt how to manage difficult people of site
I really don't enjoy the program because it has no co-ordination or management
There is no structure to the program
I receive some support from managers who have taken a keen interest in my development but as a whole there isn't much
They are very difficult to communicate with and often do not reply to emails. We have mainly had to help each other as a group to complete work rather than ask the tutors
I don't think it helps much at all
I sometimes get involved in 5-a-side football
Yes
They are very good at getting you onto training
To ask more questions at the interview stage to get real picture of what the job involves
