I enjoy the programme, no 2 days are the same and the variety of things i work on excites me each day before my shift
very structured, on 4 month placements across site and this enables me to network and learn new things every day. I know my plan and what i need to do to become qualified and what i will expect throughout my apprenticeship
I am very supported by not only my employer but my manager, i have regualr check ins and catch ups to make sure i am on top of my studies and enjoying my time at AZ.
I have good support from my training provider, making sure i achieve the highest grade possible throughout my 4 years, i know what i will be doing each year as they give me a plan and timetable to follow
They give me basic engineering knowledge that enables me to develop and approach problems with a new outlook and a logical one. Learning engineering practices and relating them to the company develops not only my learning but potentially the production of the engineering team.
There is a massive network at AZ, i am the current mental health rep for UK apprentices and the training and support in doing so is amazing, i am now involved in meetings, presentations and even filming which is challenging but very rewarding
Yes
It is a company that looks after its staff. Not only staff but apprentices even more, we are not just an employee number we are valued and all our voices are heard. Which is the first time i have experienced as i have previously had an apprenticeship with another employer. AZ has made me feel valued and excepted
Be you, AZ want you to be you and follow what you believe in. The values and behaviors set have made an impact in my personal life and i feel positive of my future but AZ offers everyone an opportunity to grow professionally and personally
