Co-ordination of the companies apprenticeship programmes, supporting with the logistics around running multiple programmes for different business units
My apprenticeship gave me a fantastic insight into process improvement, data analysis and risk management. But the biggest skill change was with my communication, doing this apprenticeship really brought me out of my shell and whilst previously I was quite an introvert I am now confident in holding workshops
The programme is quite hard going at times but overall I am really enjoying it. Every so often I come across something at work and have a lightbulb moment and recall covering something similar on the course
The provider are incredibly well organised, learning is planned out for the year with regular one to one sessions with the tutor
My employer is very supportive, not only making sure I have time to attend the programme and achieve my 20% off the job target but also making sure to be mindful of my welfare
They are great with this, a good mix of scheduled learning with regular one to one session and the tutor is just an email away with an answer to any queries
This qualification is an expansion on a previous programme I have completed and supplements the learning well. My current course ha quite a focus on using data to drive change which works quite well with our business strategy
Constantly, our business is quite geared towards supporting colleagues achieve in all aspects of their lives. We have regular yoga sessions, we work with local schools to get the kids career ready and we run initiatives to support people to volunteer in their local community
