The experience involved ample networking opportunities with partners, associates, and trainees alike. This was highly beneficial in assisting and guiding me on my pursuit of a career in law, allowing me to access connections that I now regularly keep in touch with. The experience itself built upon vital skills needed for the career. ACCESS involved pitching to partners, case studies, and a business strategy deal. I would highly recommend ACCESS.

ACCESS boosted my confidence with public speaking. During the experience, you are coached by a leading barrister on public speaking skills and adequate rhetoric. You then put this skills to use with the business pitch to the associates. The skills you gain from ACCESS are fundamental to the role of a commercial solicitor, and thus if you are considering law, I highly recommend that you apply.

I highly enjoyed the experience. I am now close friends with many of the people I worked alongside. The Clifford Chance staff were very accommodating and friendly. CC felt like a very familial, friendly firm. As such, I thoroughly enjoyed my time working there. Whilst, at first, travelling to London to meet new people seemed draughting, CC were so accommodating that they put me to ease.

The work experience programme was well organised. There was a strict structure to the two week programme, in which the CC staff crammed in an array of events. It is clear that the recruitment team, who run the event, put a lot of time and effort into organising ACCESS. Their work pays off, as the experience truly is great fun and very rewarding.

I think, above everything, the experience allows you to get the best possible insight into the firm, their values, and their culture. CC is the most friendly law firm I have come across. It seems to me to be the most progressive, and a firm that genuinely cares for it's staff.

ACCESS was fundamental in assisting me in my career. ACCESS allowed me a first-hand insight into the work of a commercial law firm, and inspired me to pursue a career in one as such. I now currently hold a Training Contract, and I thank and owe ACCESS for that. ACCESS inspired me to pursue a career in law.

Whilst you are not paid, travel expenses are accommodated for. On top of this, you are given exceptional food across the period of the experience. Free coffee and tea is provided at your choosing, and if you need to travel from a greater distance, CC will happily pay for your accommodation at a hotel.

There are so many opportunities to network at ACCESS. Every lunch is a networking lunch! CC invite their trainees to eat lunch with ACCESS members, meaning you can ask questions about law and the work in a more intimate and friendly environment. It is here where you will make connections that will aid you if you wish to pursue a career in law.
