Day to day running of a production kitchen in a High Street site, catering for the masses and leading whilst working closely with the team, helping develop those who wish to continue growing within the industry.
Yes certainly have. 9 years with the company and 7 learning what makes a good Manager, skills, attributes, learning more on this course too so I can be a better Manager for everyone I encounter in my career and life. Leadership in particular.
The programme is great, I just do not have any dedicated Time to work on the course. Work consumes my time, and the balance is consumed by my wife and 9 month old son. Fitting in lifetime work is a huge challenge for me. I end up working well under deadline pressure by getting the work done the day before a catchup with my tutor.
There is a good structure. The trainer is really good with steering me into the correct direction with the work that needs doing. I have absolute faith in him.
My employer does give me support, however due to the nature of my shift patterns I cannot see a logical time to get studies done at work on the 2 hours dedicated study time. I find it impossible to get any studies done at home too.

It will no doubt make me a better manager, teaching me further important aspects about the hospitality industry and being a successful manager.
Other than a charity gold day. I am not aware of any.
