I have been in this roe for nearly eighteen months and developed considerable during this time, I have undertaken training to become Belbin accredited and to facilitate action learning. I now have a more strategic role rather than operational in previous roles which has helped me develop skills around strategy and leading a service.
I have not enjoyed the programme, I have found the support from the provider to be poor, I feel that I have been working on my own for most of the last three and a half years with no opportunity to network with peers, especially since all learning moved on line due to Covid
Poor, dates for training have only been provide a couple of weeks before modules start which has proven difficult when you have a diary of work commitments, there has not been enough notice. You are not notified when module results are expected to be published. Information on he learning platform has improved recently.

Helped to identify and engaged with my work base major project so that it was useful within the organisation.
Some lectures as easy to get hold off and ask for support, there is one tutor who does not respond to emails and would refer you to the office hour but it is not always appropriate to make the days and time and you might not want to discuss in an open forum. I have been supported by my skills coach as required.
It has helped me to gain a greater insight to those areas outside of my normal work that could impact directly and indirectly to see how different priorities can influence on me, my and the organisation. Having the knowledge has provided me with more confidence to undertake my way and communicate with others, especially senior staff.
