The work side is great however, there have been various implications with the studying aspect from the majority of apprentices.
There is still a lot of uncertainty about the training although my main point of contact is doing what she can and is always available. The issue is above her so unfortunately even she cannot answer the questions I have.
My team, mentor and manager are always available and have regular meetings with me to ensure there is nothing more they can do.
We need more support with the exam as the study material doesn't correlate to the exam. This has been raised but there are not a lot of people free to take charge of these sessions and getting the time off work for an hour or so can be difficult.
My apprenticeship is to become an financial advisor however, I haven't really done any financial advisory. I have completely different role to the one I signed up for although I do enjoy it.

I've had lots of fun, and met some amazing people. I have definitely become more employable and genuinely enjoy what I'm doing. Considering I am still quite young I believe I've now acquired the skills that act as a foundation to build my career.
There are so many areas within Coutts ranging from investment banking to the Mortgages team so there are various opportunities you can venture into and explore. Coutts are an inclusive organisation that made me feel welcome from the day I joined
