I take part in team meetings and project meetings with all the stakeholders. I help with the delivery of projects. I have key responsibilities in the team such as checking documents received from contractors.
I have improved my team working and communication skills whist working in a large team and with external companies.
I have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. I have been given many opportunities outside of my team to help develop my skills and gain exposure to the wider business.
Overall, it is a clear programme and there is always someone you can go to for more information or clarification.
I have been supported very well by my employer and my managers. They are always willing to listen and support.
My learning provider have been exceptional in tracking my progress and offering the required support. With quarterly catch-up with y mentor at University and employee, I am able to express any worries and concerns easily.
I am able to see the application of my learning at work. I have been given work-based problems to write reports on which helps combine both my knowledge and experience.
There are plenty to get involved in. From STEM related events to promote engineering careers to social and sport events. There's always something to do!
