I have worked in 4 different roles over the 4 year apprenticeship. Currently working in Human Resources, which I would like to pursue my career in. I have also had experience working in Strategy and Transformation, Account Management and Finance.
Both. I have learnt so much but have also really developed the skills I came to BT with.
I enjoy it very much. Being able to get experience doing a different job each year is rare to be able to do so definitely made the most of this time.
Well structured from beginning to now nearly at the end. Through the covid lockdowns we were supported and are always in the loop with anything that is going on, especially with the change of learning provider.
We always get to complete our 20% off the job studying/training. We have access to mentors and support from line managers is second to none.
Kent always provide us with 1 to 1 opportunities as well as the live in person seminars.
Having a better understanding of the business environment especially with strategy and leadership - however with only very little theory on business finance meant I struggled during that rotation and had to take matters into my own hands.
Lots of volunteering opportunities and plenty of socials now we are back to normal after the lockdowns.
Yes
Overall great place to work, great salary, great culture and people.
Research BT and it's values/what they stand for. Get a second opinion on your CV from teachers/friends/family. Always research the skills required for an apprenticeship and use examples in your CV of when you have used these in school/work/life.
