    • Learned a broad range of financial modelling based skills - excel, python, VBA, PowerBi

    • I enjoy it, but workload can be quite high depending on when examinations are taking place alongside client work.

    • Very well organised

    • Support is very good, both in terms of difficulties relating to on the job work or personal circumstances.

    • Support is good, tutor regularly reaches out and online classes are very good.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

    • Mixed, accountancy skills have only been somewhat relevant to the role.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

    • A few that i know of, but I haven't got involved in any of these yet. Work socials are very well organised.

    • Yes

  • 9b. Why?

    • Great working environment, with even better people working alongside you. Pay is good and progression is clear/achievable.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to KPMG?

    • Just be yourself, if you have a natural interest towards finance and problem solving with an analytical mindset then the selection process with align with your natural skills. I came from a biology background but my natural interest towards this area shone through.
