  • My job role involves a variety of different tasks (including) setting up rooms for events, doing post runs a bit of reception work and doing repairs.

  • I am now trained in scaffolding, PAT and first aid. I have also become more organised and have improved my IT skills a lot.

  • I have a group of people who I enjoy working with but there are some areas for improvement, but id rather not say what they are.

  • I would say that it is mostly organised but there are areas for improvement.

  • I would say I receive a good amount of support.

  • A decent amount, however it can be hard at times as most of it is online.

  • By giving a good understanding about how Facilities Management works

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I am part of the ambassador network which has been great and it has helped to improve my confidence when going to the careers fare events. They also have extra courses you can sign up to do and are often about how to improve IT skills etc.

  • 9a. Would you recommend University of Oxford to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Oxford University has a lot of benefits such as, discounted membership at Iffley Gym and free entry to botanical gardens. Also pays a decent salary. The University also has some beautiful buildings to visit.

  • If you see a vacancy you like, take a good read through and if you like it then apply.
