i am learning everyday on a day to day basis. whilst doing an apprenticeship, it is important to learn everyday as it will help with getting better at the job and also with university work which your are being set with. it is a great opportunity for those that want to start working in the real life.
I've learnt new skills whilst being here. The main skill is building up confidence and meetign new people. this is important because different people have different knowledge skills and this will help you with gaining more skills such as being a leader and a relevant team worker. confidence is a real skillset to learn.
At first, i found it hard as it is like a beginning of a new life. A new step in my career. Nearly 10 months into my apprenticeship, i am eager to learn more by the day and am starting to enjoy the working life a lot more than when i started especially with help of everyone and them being friendly which is big to me as they make me feel welcome.
My programme is structured in such a way that it helps with my university work and my day to day work. It ties in very well because whatever i have to do for university, my manger gives me work to link back and that way i am always on point for handing in work.
Honestly, i couldn't have asked for more. They are very helpful and friendly and are willing to give a bit of their time to help me when i am in need of help and they are also willing to go the extra mile. so in other words, i get so much support then i anticipated.
Again, like my employers at work, they are always there to help me. i can email and drop in a call whenever i need. they also provide bootcamps throughout the year where they go through certain topics and explain it so well that we understand and if there is anybody struggling, they are willing to give there time to go through it again
Whatever i need to do to receive my qualifications and the work i get set, it ties in very well with what i do in my day to day job so its like a type of boost in a way that i am always gaining experience and learning everyday as time goes past.
Due to my University being virtual, there no physical activities that we can get into but there is a community group online where everyone interacts and it is quite useful but if there was extra-curricular activities, it would've been a good way to physically get to know people outside.
Yes
The reason why I would refer Schneider electric to a friend is because it is the best possible way to start off your career. They are very global company with people who specialize in many different fields and this is a way to learn everyday and what a way to gain experience and a long term job where you are in for a new challenge all the time.
A tip I would recommend is to be yourself. Write yourself a bright CV where you can showcase your skills and abilities that will catch the interviewers eyes, this way you can have that extra nudge against others and will make it hard and more competitive to fight for a spot at Schneider. wish you the best
