I currently work in audit, my day to day responsibilities include communicating with audited entities or clients, planning meetings and documenting work towards annual audits.
I have definitely developed my communication skills as well as developing my professional mannerisms in and out of the office. My IT skills have developed rapidly due to the complexity of the work at hand.
I thoroughly enjoy working at KPMG as an apprentice, the work is good, I learn a lot and I get to meet a lot of new people which is also a bonus.
KPMG structure their apprentice programme immaculately with exams and education providing being scheduled around busy periods so we can ensure our full focus when we do approach exams and that we also have a good balance between working and studying .
I simply could not ask for more support from the team, I am constantly supported and my needs are always met.
At KPMG we are lucky enough to be sent to BPP university before or exams to ensure the highest levels of education providing, we still receive regular updates an check ins from the KPMG team too.
The knowledge from my education at BPP is definitely transferrable and helps me most days during day to day work.
I socialise at the office gym with new people most weeks and am also starting to play football soon with work colleagues.

Simply outstanding. The work is challenging enough to keep bettering myself each day and the social opportunities and networking when working for a big 4 company are endless.
Be yourself, grades are important although KPMG really care about people. Showing your personality is a great way to demonstrate yourself in a good manner and will most likely be able to determine if the company is for you or not. The diversity we have at KPMG is amazing.
