  • speaking to customers and investigating fraud based instances for business credit card customers, including inbound and outbound calls.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt how to make calls to business personnel and communicate in a suitable and professional way with proper knowledge of processes. I have also developed communication and written skills for both communicating with customers and regularly emailing colleagues

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the job, it is very interesting and the content is good.my team are all very helpful and great to work with and implement the banks values and follow what the bank believes.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme has a good structure, how we are learning the information it is more structured. the induction didn't seem to have much structure or purpose, however the actual learning has been done well. My line managers have been a massive help .

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer-natwest- provides all the help i could ask for.my time is well accomodated for and their is never an issue when i need time for my apprentice work, it is the ideal situation.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • so far, i have not recieved alot of information regarding assistance from my provider. the session coach always makes us aware we can ask for help, however i have had minimal contact with my coach or any guidance or problem issue chats.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • i feel my qualification provides me with some skills i need for my role, e.g. customer service understanding and general bank knowledge .however, some information is untailored to my role as expected as the content cannot suit one role, however it is still useful knowledge.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • yes, there are many activities both in my team and bank-wide e.g. champion network events, fundraisers etc we are spoilt for choice.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a driven company that is motivated and has admirable values that we should all strive for. They highly value customers and staff and , not one more than the other, so customers get the best experience. i cannot fault it.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NatWest?
  • be confident, show your interest. the process may seem daunting as it is a large professional business, but there is no reason to be, everyone cant help enough.
