My role involves working with more senior project managers, assisting them with the day to day running of a project, managing risk, money and the teams.
I have developed my communication along with my organisational skills through my day to day work. Further to this, my excel skills and use of technology has improved.
I enjoy my programme, there is a wide variety of jobs and different tasks to get involved with. There are some dull tasks but that comes with the job and everybody has to help out.
My programme is well structured, university is all online meaning I have the flexibility to choose what day I dedicate to university and can fit this around work.
I have good support from my line manager along with the rest of the team on the many jobs I am working on
I receive good support from my trading provider, they are always available should I have any queries and have a wide variety of resources available.
I feel that my qualification is good as it means that I can understand my role better and why we do the things that we do and begin to understand concepts used in project management.
We have a sports and social team who organise events throughout the year along with whole office events to get involved with.
Yes
They are providing training in a positive workplace that is full of support to help me progress my career. There is also good work from home opportunities and work life balance. The only negative is that the pay is not the highest compared to similar apprenticeships
Make sure to get involved on the assessment day, however, the rest of it is pretty standard for a recruitment process and I would suggest just trying your hardest and doing your research.
