In my role I coordinate the activities of our learning development team, which aims to upskill and develop our employees. This involves arranging team meetings, arranging training, liaising with external suppliers, coordinating coaching, taking ownership for sponsorships and lots of other adhoc HR tasks and projects.
Yes I have learnt a lot of new skills, whilst growing existing skills. For example I have gained my Level 3 in HR, so have learnt all the skills that go alongside this. I have attended courses on developing confidence and assertiveness as well- to help grow my confidence and competence. I have also learnt a lot about liaising with customers and stakeholders.
I thoroughly enjoy my programme. The company culture is that you bring your whole self to work, and really makes a nice working environment. I really enjoy working with my team. I really enjoy all of the work that I have been involved in, and liked that there was a lot of variety.
My programme has been well structured. I have had a supportive coach throughout the process of my apprenticeship as well as plenty of support along the programme from my team.
I have received lots of support from my employer, manager and team. This has allowed me to be successful in my programme, and get support whenever I need it.
I have received a lot of support from my training provider, with a supportive coach throughout the process. My tutor was also really helpful and knowledgeable, which has made my course smooth and easy.
It definitely has helped me in my role, and helped me grow in confidence and competence in my work.
There are lots of employee networks that staff can get involved in. This includes lots of social events, activities etc.
Yes
I think this company is a great place to work.
I would suggest to others that you get involved and stuck in with all the experiences and opportunities that are available to you.
