Took part in normal auditing day to day tasks, such as the planning tasks of an audit and then mostly focused on testing areas of financial statements
Skills developed = excel skills and IT skills, organisational skills, teamwork skills and working with others, time management, working under stress, testing audit technical knowledge, working with a deadline, communicating with professional clients, professional scepticism
Work was extremely stressful at times but worked with good people and completing work felt rewarding. Also good to see progress in my own skills and abilities
Very well organised programme with clear instructions, timings and a lot of suitable support provided by the company
As mentioned, we always had a variety of different supports available to us
The support provided by the training provider was less useful than the actual company support but still suitable for me to complete my placements
I feel this training and programme is extremely useful at allowing me to perform better in my role. However, this is due to work done whilst away from the training provider mostly
Yes there are many social activities and other events/programmes for us to take part in during our work which were advertised to us and we were incentivised to join in with
Yes
A well organised company with a good culture and full of good people
Be ready for stressful times and an immense amount of workload
