  • I control customer orders for delivery and collection from the store, managing a fleet of 8 vehicles and a team of approx 30 colleagues

  • Yes as i changed my job role during my apprenticehip. My apprenticehip gave me the confidence and skills to do this

  • The programme was really enjoyable and I learnt a lot about the business. I felt there were too many marketing modules though

  • The pormgramme is well organised and structured with regular visits from my trainer

  • My employer gave me the time I needed to complete my modules and especially when I was nearing my end point assessment. I also had regular skills endorsments from my employer

  • My trainer was always available to help with questions/concerns. We had regular planned visits and during my end point assessment my trainer ensured I was prepared. I had excellent support

  • It has provided me with a broader knowledge and increased my confidence

  • Yes, the store has a social club and various social activites are arranged

  • B&Q has very simple values which we incorporate into our roles, it would be beneficial for you to know these before applying. The customer is at the heart of everything we do, so give examples of this during your interview. Be yourself as your personality counts!
