This role includes doing day to day task dependant on the department and having a supportive team around you to ask for support. This role is about learning on the job and taking in what you learn.
I have learnt new skills about how to deal with people within a team and how to make sure to communicate with seniors about anything Im struggling with.
The college work that comes along with the programme is not very good as the tasks set are not related to the department that you are in and overall can be improved a lot more as its been very disappointing
The structure of this programme has been disappointing to say the least. Communication can be very difficult especially with the manager looking over all the apprentices. Day to day tasks should be related to the college tasks set.
At the moment i have a great amount of support for all areas that i might be struggling with such as the day to day tasks and the college work that has been set. Seniors have been assigned to us for extra support.
Support from trainer provider has not been much. Have the occasional one to one but apart from that there is not any support and can be unhelpful in terms of completing tasks
The qualification almost adds more stress to my role in terms of the college work as it doesn't relate to the work we do day to day.
From what i have seen there inst any extra curricular activities that i could get involved in.
Yes
In terms of a job there is a lot of support and different teams you can go into but from an apprenticeship stand point i wouldn't recommend as the college side of it really lets the whole experience down.
I would say to make sure that you can communicate with other well and to always make sure that you ask a lot of questions for the role that you're applying for.
