Working within Operational Technology - Electricity Grid Sector, being able to provide new solutions and providing digital efficiencies, providing support on projects to help and enhance my skillset within the industry, but mainly developing myself within Operational Technology Cyber Security.

Within work, I thoroughly enjoy my work - being able to be involved in so many different ways and being given control and responsibility. My team is fantastic. It does meet my expectations.
From a work perspective, my work is well structured. However, the university feels like it's in the background - they don't really play an active role in the programme as much as I thought, and during the delivery of modules within university - it was not well organised
I receive a lot of support from my manager and I can easily talk if I have a problem. As well as in the business, everyone is happy to provide assistance in whatever ways needed
I get enough support
Being able to work for a degree while working means I can use my knowledge from the university and apply the skills inside the workplace
There has been a few social events, and there are many ways of getting involved in company event and livestreams, training, etc. They offer voluntary work also
Yes
They are a large, historic company and with that comes many experienced and professional employees which means that there is a lot of support inside the company, they also value you as a person not just an employee
Onboarding process was easy and simple, the application process was easy done on their website, they also did a week in Cumbria before starting the role with other apprentices who were starting in the country too which was good. The interview stage was formal but not pressurising nor an intimidating environment
