Working in the process assurance team means I read environmental monitoring plates looking for any bacterial or fungal growth. If a plate is positive I enter the results onto a system and send the plate to the waters identification team. Once the growth has been identified I upload the result to the system.
Since starting at the company I have learnt how to read different types of environmental monitoring including agar plates, EZ tests and magna amps.
I love that i get to work with such a great company.
Towards the start it was a little disorganised but it now has more of a structure as i know what i need to do.
All my managers/supervisors and the company as a whole are really supportive.
The university make themselves available however dont give great advice.
So has there has been no link between my course work and my role.
