My role involves data input, providing updates to wider business functions, working on projects and data analysis. I attend lots of meetings and work alongside other business functions to produce data used by my department.
I have learnt lots of new skills including use of packages such as Word and Excel, along with learning how to use programs such as Oracle and Lexus Nexus. I have developed my communication skills and general business knowledge.
I thoroughly enjoyed the programme and enjoyed working at Cummins and really liked my colleagues and people I work with. I didn't enjoy college so much as a lot of it was online during the pandemic.
Work were very organised with the programme, however I did not find the college to be so organised.
I received a lot of support from my employer throughout, they were very good in giving me time to work through my college work alongside my normal workload.
In my first year I did not have a very good tutor and I really struggled, however in the second year I had a much better tutor who was much more supportive.
I think that my qualification did add to my role and my confidence, however wasn't very relative to my daily tasks.
I do not get involved in extra curricular activities but these are available if people are interested.
Yes
It is a brilliant company to work for.
Show that you are hard working, a team player and have good data accuracy.
