Every day is different within consulting! The one thing that is consistent from day-to-day is utilizing problem-solving skills to ensure the client remains happy and all of their needs and requirements are met.
I have developed my communication and teamwork skills. I have also become more reliable as a team member and as a person. That's not even to mention the technical knowledge I have gained from all of the technology solutions I have helped develop
I enjoy it very much! I get to work with interesting people every day across a multitude of service lines and areas of the business. No two days are alike.
From EY's side, it is very well structured and I know exactly what is expected of me on any given day. However, the University I study at is less organized, and key details such as deadlines or on which days I should be studying are less clear.
I feel fully supported by my employer in all aspects of my home and work life
I feel fully supported by the training provider. My "Coach" is easy to contact and we have regular touchpoints.
The qualification is very relevant - for example, as soon as I finished the module on Cyber Security, I was rolled onto a Cyber Security transformation for one of EY's clients
There are lots of social activities including social gatherings to attend and sports teams to join
Yes
I have friends that are very interested in both finance and technology. This program is a perfect blend of both worlds for anybody that wants to enter either industry
Do your research and make sure you know exactly what you are applying for. Also, come to any interviews prepared with questions for the interviewer. Remember, interviews are not only for the company to see if you are right for them, it is for you to determine whether the company is right for you
