I manage a quality improvement team, we identify areas for improvement, investigate them. Develop a range of solutions that are then designed and delivered to the business. this includes social media campaigns, resources, face to face and online training interventions. The interventions are then measured and monitor and compared to the original objectives to measure the impact of them.
I have learnt so much on the my program, I have developed skills relating to the effective analysis of data to investigate anomalies. As well as how to present data in a used friendly way. I developed my communication skills in terms of working with the senior management team and being able to talk the business jargon with them comfortably.
I have loved my program, I liked the combination of on line work shops supported with the on line session to build the knowledge for the CIPD qualification. Where the live work shop allowed for discussion and comparison to how the knowledge gained applied to my own workplace which helped build my knowledge, skills and behaviours ready for EPA in September.
There was a clear overview of all of the session dates and key deadlines issued at the the induction. The induction session clearly explained the amount of work involved and how the course would be ran in phases. Each phase had a workshop, on line session and the 1-2-1 with a dedicated tutor.
My employer recommended that I take the course as part of my long term development in my role. I was fully supported through the program through having sufficient time away form work to complete assignments. I also shadowed different meetings and visited other areas of the business to build on my knowledge learnt on the program.
Both ICS which provided the CIPD qualification and dedicated tutor supported me through my qualification. There were forums and informal feedback schemes provided by ICS which helped to ensure that my assignment were passed first time. My Realise tutor ensured that I was on track and continually challenged me to improve.
I have been massively helped by my qualification - I have gained 2 promotions and have become manager of the team. I put into practice all of knowledge I am learning about everyday and have gained a more in depth understanding and awareness of the learning and Development sector. This allows me bench mark my own work effectively,
My work place is primarily remote working but we did recently have a face to face leadership event which was amazing. I do access both online and the occasional CIPD event to network locally on issues in the industry and to become better informed of them. When I am not working I support my local Rugby club.
Yes
