Day to day I attend project calls for upcoming innovations which will result in savings, supplier calls to help out with new orders, invoicing, to ensure our suppliers are paid on time and correctly, broadcasting information about savings in team meetings, and collecting data for long term capacity planning for our factories.
Yes I Have learn new skills including Power BI and Excel skills, I have also learnt how to use Unilever's contract and purchase order systems and developed communication, confidence and Microsoft office skills. I thoroughly enjoy my apprenticeship programme, every day is different and every single day I get to learn some new skills, I am challenged by my team daily which helps me progress even further and helps with my confidence when I complete a task which I have never done before.
My programme is organised fairly well, there are many tools and events to help you with study and to gain new skills at work, you receive all documents with your study modules and assignments set out at the beginning and have regular review and 1 to 1 coaching sessions with new objectives.
I receive a huge amount of support from my employer including time to study, plenty of learning opportunities, policies around apprentices for line managers ect. My team and line manager are hugely supportive of my apprenticeship as well as other employees across the business that I have been able to network with.
I receive a good amount of support from Multiverse when working towards my qualifications, they are understanding of needs and when you struggle, need more time or resources, they offer 1 to 1 training time, progress reviews with line managers and monthly teaching calls with prep work and assignments and objectives.
My study teaches me how to communicate effectively, network, make my voice heard and analyse, clean up and use data as well as tell a data narrative which is something I need for my day to day work. I also learn how to use software like excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
