My roller is to help the elderly with their every day needs from getting washed and dressed in the mornings. Helping them to use the bathroom, get them ready for bed, help them to eat and drink. Assist them with showering and walking and to help keep them safe in the environment they live in.
I have learnt new techniques and experiences new care needs and how to adjust with the care reciever to help them progress and get a better understanding of their everyday needs. I have also learnt to adjust with the different care needs and how to learn more about the different needs
With the research that I have done through out the course already had help me to expand my knowledge with the work I need to do to help me progress in my future and help me get a better understanding of the role that is expected of me to do
Every week we have a meeting to review all the work I have done and to see my progress through the course. I get set new tasks weekly and it keeps me busy and keeps my mind refreshed with the work and reached I have already done through the weeks
I received alot of support from my mentor she helps keep my confidence up and that helps me to keep progressing and getting more knowledge and understanding. She is very reassuring

It has helped me progress because of the emotional of research I have to do it helps me learn more things and get a better understanding of my role
Not really for me as I work nights and am to busy during the days through the week and struggle with child care on half terms
